HURRICANE IAN CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO OUR SAND POINTE COMPLEX IN SEPTEMBER OF 2022. ALL UNITS IN OUR ENTIRE COMPLEX HAVE BEEN STRIPPED TO THE STUDS AND ARE BEING TOTALLY REBUILT. RECONSTRUCTION IS ONGOING WITH AN EXPECTED COMPLETION DATE OF FALL 2024. I WILL POST NEW PHOTOS ONCE EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE!!
We have spared no expense in remodeling our Sand Pointe unit 232. Color, style, comfort, & quality: all with a seaside feel, were the design elements that were most important to us as we remodeled our ocean facing unit.
Step inside our bright and airy unit with its vaulted ceiling and be met with beautiful travertine floors, wood-look tile, and carpet the color of the sea. Take in the striking seaside blues, greens, and neutrals of the walls and furnishings. Please note: only the top floor units at Sand Pointe have vaulted ceilings.
Relax and listen to the waves as you settle onto our comfy living room couch and love seat. Sit in the super swivel chair, which allows you to enjoy our fabulous ocean view or turn to enjoy TV and conversation.
Enjoy making meals in our large, open, designer kitchen with custom cabinetry, stunning cambria countertops, and quality stainless appliances. We've also included two coffee makers(Keurig & Mr. Coffee drip) as well as an electric kettle for tea. Take a seat at the kitchen bar, sip a cocktail, watch the cook, or use your laptop with our complimentary wifi.
Indulge yourself in our beautiful designer baths with their custom, frameless, all-glass shower walls. Enjoy spa- quality showers in our master bath with its dual shower heads, one of which is a 'rainshower' head. All Kohler products were used throughout our unit.
Enjoy a restful night's sleep on our premium pillow top mattresses with ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Both bedrooms are decorated with premium linens and quilts in the beautiful colors and designs of the sea. Or watch your favorite TV show in either bedroom on 32" flatscreens or on the 49" HDTV flatscreen in the living room with hundreds of cable channels. Bring your Amazon Fire Stick and plug into our extra HDMI ports on all TV's.
Have breakfast every morning on our lanai with its breathtaking view facing the ocean or have cocktails there in the late afternoon. Relax in the comfy lanai chairs or chaise lounge and read a good book or just take in the view! Our lanai has TWO ceiling fans for your comfort.
Whether you are grandparents enjoying the winter months, a couple on your honeymoon or anniversary, best friends on a vacation getaway,or a family spending a wonderful week on Sanibel making memories to last a lifetime, enjoy our seaside home. We have just finished updating/remodeling our Sand Pointe condo in January 2020!! We started renting our condo ourselves on the "old" VRBO that didn't charge renters "user fees" in 2007 and are proud to say we have guests who return again & again!
Sand Pointe is a lovely, small condo complex of 45 units located at 2737 West Gulf Drive in Sanibel Island. Our condo is a 1200 sq. ft., 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit that sleeps 4 on the top floor with a large lanai facing the ocean and beach. The beautifully landscaped grounds of Sand Pointe include a lovely heated pool, a lagoon with our resident wildlife, and under building parking.
We're a short bike ride to grocery stores, shopping, and fabulous restaurants, not to mention the miles of shell tossed beach right outside our door!
Beach chairs, beach towels, & beach umbrella provided!!
We have our own cleaning team, service people, and our sister lives on Sanibel should any issues arise.
